This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Space Outpost ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information that identifies you. Your game progress and settings are saved only on your device. The App does collect anonymous usage analytics and displays ads, as described below.
To understand how the game is played and to improve it, the App uses Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics service. The App sends anonymous events describing in-game activity — for example launching the app, starting a level, the wave a run ended on, and whether a reward ad was watched — along with basic technical context (device model, operating system, app version, language, and coarse country/region). These events do not include your name, email, contacts, precise location, or any account information.
Each installation generates a random installation identifier that is stored on your device and attached to these events so we can understand activity over time, such as whether players return. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity, is not used to track you across other apps or websites, and is reset if you reinstall the App. Analytics data is processed by Aptabase on our behalf; see Aptabase's Privacy Policy.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process certain information automatically, including:
This data is handled by Google under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
On iOS, if personalized advertising is used, the App will ask for your permission
through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking identifier is
used. You can decline, and you can change this at any time in
Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Declining does
not stop ads from showing; it limits ad personalization.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
We do not hold personal data that identifies you. Anonymous analytics events are retained by Aptabase on our behalf for a limited period under its policies. Game data stored on your device is removed when you delete the App or reset progress in the App's settings. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained per Google's policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
